Meet Tyler

While living with an amputation has been admittedly difficult for Tyler, it has also led him to meet an array of interesting people through his travels and participation in skiing. Skiing is Tyler’s true love, and he trains long and hard for races. Tyler trains with the Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham, New York and the National Sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park, Colorado. He is also on the U.S. E-Team.

Tyler enjoys music, TV, playing video games, and reading books. He has a younger brother, Jackson, and two German shepherds named Lexie and Rocky. In the summertime, he stays in shape by playing tennis and skateboarding. He played tennis in High School. And he enjoys watching sports as well; his favorite teams are the Steelers, Broncos, and the Phillies. Tyler volunteers with numerous camps and programs including the Adaptive Sports Foundation, Pennsylvania Center for Adaptive Sports, Amputee Coalition of America Summer Youth Camp, and much more.

Tyler is looking for financial sponsors to help him compete in the 2014 Paralympic Games as a skier. If you’re interested, you can contact Tyler to find out more.
